Je'daii Ranked Duel

Mission Profile

The Je'daii Ranked Duel Server is a competitive Jedi Academy experience powered by a custom Node.js backend and a custom OpenJK client fork. We fuse high-level dueling mechanics with deep RPG progression, a robust economy, a party system, and immersive community features.

Notice: The custom HUD UI requires the rend2 renderer. If the UI is not showing correctly, open Settings and switch your renderer to rend2.

Features at a Glance

Ranked Dueling & Elo

• Gain or lose Elo based on match results — climb from Youngling to Jedi Grand Master.
• Live BP & HP Tracking during fights in real-time.
• Flawless Defense: Win with 90+ BP and 100 HP for bonus Elo.
• Clutch Comeback: Win after dropping below 10 BP or 15 HP for extra Elo.
• Close-Fight Protection: Lose an intense match? Elo loss reduced by 30% if you brought the winner very low.
• Fall/Void Protection: Accidental death at full BP at duel start = match voided, 0 Elo lost.
• Post-match popup shows exact Elo change, XP gain, and remaining HP/BP.

RPG Leveling & Adventures

• Gain XP from duels, kills, and quests to level up your profile (!stats).
• Story Adventures: Interactive stories with choice paths and custom artwork (!adv).
• Daily Quests: Challenges that reward Credits and XP (!quest).
• Achievements: Unlock combat and milestone badges on your profile card (!ach).
• Bounties: Set or claim credit bounties on other players (!bounty).

Shop & Credits Economy

• Earn Credits by fighting, quests, adventures, and Hot Potato.
• Buy custom titles, win messages, and items in the Shop (!shop).
• All stats, credits, levels, and items saved permanently to your account.

Party System & Squad Wars

• Create or join parties with custom names and colors (!party).
• Party Studio: Browse active parties and send/accept invites from a menu.
• Party Mini-HUD: See your squad members' live HP, BP, and Force Points.
• Party Wars: Teams track kill scores against each other during open play.
• Party Chat: Send private messages to your party with !p <message>. Bind a key: /bind p messagemode_party

Custom HUD & Settings

• Master Hub: !rpgmenu or !menu — access everything in one place.
• HUD Styles: Classic, Sleek Bar, Tech Hex, and Minimal layouts.
• Sliders: Reposition HUD bars, party overlay, and chat box anywhere on screen.
• Chat Box Styles: Dark Glass, Cyber Cyan, Solid Black, or Transparent.

Main Menu

• /login <user> <pass> – Register or log in to your account.
• /logout / !logout – Log out of your account.
• !changepassword / !passwd – Change your account password.

Stats & Leaderboards

• !stats [name] / !info – View ranked player stats.
• !rank / !r – View your rank title and Elo.

• !sell <item> / !sl – Sell an item back to the shop.

Bounties & Betting

• !bounty <name> <amt> – Place a credit bounty on a player.
• !bountylist / !bounties – View all active bounties.
• !bet <name> <amt> / !b – Bet credits on an active duel.
• !roll / !rl – Roll a tiered gamble (60s cooldown).

Party

• !party – Create, manage, or join a party. Opens the Party Studio.
• !p <message> – Send a private message to your party members only.
• Bind party chat: /bind p messagemode_party

Activities

• !adv / !adventure – Start a random RPG story adventure.
• !choose <n> / !c <n> – Make a choice during an adventure.
• #<answer> – Answer the active trivia question.
• !vote hotpotato/yes/no – Start or vote on Hot Potato Mode.

Progression & Economy

XP Formula: Level = sqrt(XP) / 10

• Lvl 1: 100 XP
• Lvl 5: 2,500 XP
• Lvl 10: 10,000 XP
• Lvl 20: 40,000 XP

Earn XP via Ranked Wins, Kills, Bosses (Kyle Katarn: 250 XP), Quests, and Adventures.

Credits are earned via Duels, Hot Potato, Bounties, Quests, and Gambling.

Ranking System

Events & Mini-Games

Hot Potato: Auto-starts with 15+ players. Stay alive to earn credits. MVP announced at end of round.

Trivia: Answer lore questions with #Answer.

Kyle Katarn Boss: Defeat for 250 XP & 100 Credits.

Story Adventures: Multi-path narrative events with custom artwork — type !adv to start.
